User Initials Field |
||
|
The SysAdmin grid now contains a new 4-character
"user initials" field, Inits, which can help you more easily identify the author
of a transaction. Initials are easier to remember than an ID number. Just edit the "Inits" field in System
Admin for your users and then run Main Menu | Utilities |
Repair Your Database to post the
initials to all prior transactions. |
||
|
Here we assign user # 111, Marty Jones, the initials
"MAJ" in SysAdmin. Note: The Inits field (left) defaults
to the user ID # …until you change it. |
|
|
|
Thus, when we view a report (above), it is a lot easier to figure out who User 111
is because of the inits "MAJ." But who is user 119? How to Post User
Initials to Transactions When you're finished adding initials to the SysAdmin Grid, you must run Main Menu |
Utilities | Repair Your Database to
stamp the initials on all prior
transactions. And if you change someone's existing initials in
SysAdmin, run repair database again. |
